About the Fraser Valley Commercial Building Awards

The Fraser Valley Building Awards are an annual celebration of the best in commercial, industrial, institutional and multi-family development across the region, completed within the eligibility window published with each year’s call for nominations.
This event is produced by the Business Examiner News Group, established in 1984. The organization has been producing high impact business award events since 1990.
Our Mission is to “Facilitate Local Economic Development by connecting business leaders in-person and online”, and these events provide just such a platform for development sector organizations.
Eligible municipalities include:
- Delta, White Rock, Surrey, Langley City, Langley Township, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge and Mission.

Judging criteria

All nominations are reviewed by a panel of 3rd Party Judges not employed by the Business Examiner News Group. These judges operate in the Fraser Valley, and have significant experience in the construction and development space.

Judges make their decisions based exclusively on the information included in the nomination forms. Please ensure each question is answered entirely so they have an accurate picture of each nominee.
